About me

I'm Dhruv and I'm a

Hello Everyone, I am currently a sophomore at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Bhagalpur Engineering College,pursuing a Graduate Degree in Computer Science. I am currently putting in efforts to be better in Competitive Programming and also doing Web Development on the side. I have tried to work on some the projects such as Personalized Online Piano and Online Music Listening App. I am also focusing to learn some extra skills along with theoretical knowledge. I am looking for an internship in a company in order to gain work experience and also to test my skills in the real world.

Web Developer

I have been doing Web Development for the past one year and have tried and created some projects in the same field such as Personalized Online Piano, Online Music Listening App, Circles Game and Color Game.

Competetive Coder

I have been doing Competetive Coding for the past one year and have participated in many coding contests such as ICPC where my team was amongst the top 3 participating teams in our college.

My skills

Work Experience

I am currently appointed as the Marketing Lead, GDSC Club IIIT Bhagalpur where I am responsible for the marketing of the club and also for the promotion of the events and workshops conducted by the club.
I have been a contributer in HacktoberFest 2022, a month long event where I have contributed to a total of 15 open source repositories out of which 8 got accepted.
Moreover, I had also participated in the Google Cloud Skill Boost Program, which is a month long event in which we had to achieve certain milestones by completing various Google Cloud Labs as well as Challenge Labs in each milestone, I had completed 3 out of 4 milestones at the end of the event.
I have been certified in the FinTech Engineering Virtual Experience Program by Glodman Sachs, in this program we had to complete a given task of cracking leakedn password database using the various password decoding techniques.

My Projects

Online Personalized Piano

In this project I have built a Piano whereon clicking the keys on the keyboard the same sound is played which will be played when anyone plays an actual piano in real life. We have limited the keys till 24 only so that it does not become clumsy.

Online Personalized Music Listening Site

In this application I have developed a Music App Clone named as Music 2.0. I am currently working on the further development of this website. I have used HTML, CSS and JavaScript in the making of this application.

Circles Game

In this project I have built a Circles Game in which the player has to press any key on the keyboard which is followed by a circular animation and a different sound related to different keys. The game involves the use of HTML, CSS and JavaScript at its backend.

CRAFTस्थान

This was the project made by my team for Smart India Hackathon in the year 2022. In this we created an online marketplace for the local artisans. We are still working on this project.
